Dr. Salem Hamdiah is a distinguished academic and environmental expert from the Socotra Archipelago, with a career dedicated to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in the Socotra Archipelago. He has worked with several international organizations involved in environmental protection since 2009. In 2015, he obtained his Master’s degree from Mendel University in the Czech Republic, and in 2024, he obtained his PhD in Environmental Protection from the University of Ljubljana, Republic of Slovenia.
