FLIGHTS
Getting to and from Socotra is easiest by taking a humanitarian flight from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. These flights operate twice a week during the high season, which runs from October to April. Since these aren’t commercial flights, online booking is not available. However, we can secure a seat for you through our direct contacts with the airline.
Flights depart Jeddah on Tuesdays, returning from Socotra on Mondays.
VISA
To travel to Socotra, you’ll need a visa, which costs USD 190. We will arrange this for you, and it will be issued three weeks before you travel. If you’d prefer not to have a stamp in your passport, please let us know in advance.
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
Socotra is largely untouched by tourism and developed infrastructure. There’s no public transportation or car rentals available on the island
